Amapiano Dancer Dj Papers707 Dies Aged 42
Entertainer and legendary Amapiano dancer Dj Papers707 dies at the age of 42. The late entertainer attributed for pioneering Amapiano dance moves, passed away on July 15 after he was admitted to hospital for gout, wrote TimesLive.
Papers707, real name Vusi Mabuza, was described as a “loving and caring guy” by his longtime friend and collaborator Thapelo ‘Thabza Da DJ” Ranko.
The pair released a mixtape last month titled the ‘Lockdown Medication Vol 2.
Dj Papers707 is credited for creating the first Amapiano dance. He was popular for dancing whilst holding a Hennessey bottle.

Tributes are pouring in as fans take to Twitter to express their shock and sadness over the passing of the legendary Amapiano dancer and DJ.
Popular DJ and media personality DJ Fresh took to Twitter to honor the man who popularised Amapiano.

He was described as a strong influence and ambassador of the Amapiano movement.
Another Tweeter user called for a moment of silence as a ‘dark cloud’ hovers around. Amapiano will never be the same without DJ Papers707, wrote another tweep.
