Londie London Breaks Silence on Solitary Pregnancy Journey

Londie London, a musician and podcaster, recently opened up about her lonely pregnancy journey during the first episode of her reality TV show, Life with Londie London, which aired on 21 May.

Londie London’s Emotional Reveal

The episode began on a thought-provoking note, with one scene in particular tugging at the heartstrings of many viewers. Londie shared her experience of being alone during both of her pregnancies. Reflecting on her journey to motherhood, she said, “I’m blessed to have my kids, but it took a lot to get here. I was alone in both pregnancies. I’ve never experienced having a baby daddy around.”

She further revealed that she was alone for all her scans and even after giving birth. “He never even came to the hospital after giving birth. Both pregnancies, not just one,” she added. Londie also shared that it’s not been easy, especially since her children resemble their father. “I never imagined myself to be a single parent,” she said.

A Glimpse into Londie’s Family Life

Londie was married to businessman Hlubi Nkosi, but they divorced in 2022. She described her marriage as cold, saying, “There was no love, it was very cold, you know, Hillcrest is always cold, but at that house it was always minus 20 degrees.”

Born in Durban to Dudu Zulu, a professional accountant, and the late Zakheleni Christopher Zulu, Londie grew up in Melmoth, KwaZulu-Natal. She spent most of her childhood in Witbank, where her mother worked. Londie has two children, a son named Uminathi and a daughter named Bomikazi, whom she affectionately calls her “Irish twins” due to their close age.

Meet Londie’s Loved Ones

Londie’s inner circle includes her younger brother Mongezi Zulu, who enjoys anything related to art, and her friend Qophelo Ndwandwe, an entrepreneur who describes himself as a generous person.
