As the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season draws to a close, Kaizer Chiefs are set to take on AmaZulu FC at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday, 16 May, in what will be their second-last match of the season. The kick-off is scheduled for 15:00.
With only two games remaining, Kaizer Chiefs have no pressure on them, having already secured third place in the Betway Premiership. In contrast, AmaZulu will be eager to claim fourth place.

Kaizer Chiefs enter the match on the back of a 2-0 away victory over Sekhukhune United in Polokwane on Sunday, which confirmed their qualification for next season’s CAF Confederation Cup. AmaZulu, on the other hand, played to a goalless draw against Orbit College last Friday. In the current standings, third-placed Kaizer Chiefs have 51 points from 28 matches, while AmaZulu trail behind in fourth with 44 points from the same number of games.
Kaizer Chiefs’ selection options have been boosted by the return of Siphesihle Ndlovu, who is available again after serving a suspension in the previous match. The team’s final fixtures will both be played in Durban – this weekend’s away clash against AmaZulu, followed by a home encounter against Chippa United on Saturday, 23 May.
Tickets for Saturday’s match against AmaZulu are available online for R80 at www.ticketpro.co.za, as well as at Spar supermarkets nationwide and selected filling stations. A prediction for the match is AmaZulu FC 1-1 Kaizer Chiefs.
