Bonko Khoza expresses gratitude as “Red Ink” ends

Bonko Khoza penned a lengthy note of gratitude following the end of the Showmax series, Red Ink.

The eight-part thriller tells the story of a journalist turned publicist, Lucy Khambule, who is approached by an imprisoned serial killer to tell his story.

The award-winning actor and voice-over artist plays Napoleon Dingiswayo, nicknamed The Butcher by the media. SAFTA nominee Nqobile Nunu Khumalo plays Lucy in the Showmax series based on Angela Makholwa’s bestseller. The all-star cast also includes Kwenzo Ngobo, Abdul Khoza, Nirvana Nokwe-Mseleku, Bongile Mantsai, Lorcia Cooper and Jo-Anne Reyneke, and Tsholofelo Maseko.

Taking to social media, Bonko appreciated the viewers and supporters; he also thanked the entire crew.

Thank you Mzansi thank you so much for accepting the work we did and enjoying and sharing and engaging. It really means a lot.”
