Mi Casa to release new Album titled “We Made It”

Mi Casa New Album titled “We Made It”

There is no doubt that we are in a golden age of Music in South Africa. The Music Industry in the country is growing at a very fast pace and not only that, the quantity and quality music in South Africa has increased substantially compared to five years or even a decade ago.

Mi Casa, the famous music band based in Johannesburg are back and set to release their new full-length studio album titled “We Made It”. The project was announced at the beginning of the month and with 3 singles already out “Church Bells”

, “Mr. Loverman” and “Sweet Wine”.

Mi Casa’s “We Made It” album will be available this coming Friday 3rd of July, composed of 13th full-length tracks “We Made It” album will feature presences of some of the top South African artists such as AKA, Rouge, Jay Em, and Stilo Magolide.

Mi Casa took to their social media to talk about the road so far and the importance of releasing a Studio Album. The group talked about the importance of their second album and the immense pressure they felt it as their first album was a huge success in South Africa and internationally with four number #1 hits and being certified as Platinum.

Your second album is probably the most crucial one in our opinion… Especially if the first album goes triple platinum. We will never forget the pressure … The first album had 4 number one hits: These Streets, La Vida, Heavenly Sent, and All the Glory! BUT … can you do it again was the big question??

The group continued to clarify that even with all the pressure from their first album, they had already learned what it takes to make a and have a hit song and this only motivated them to work harder and focus in getting more hits on the next project and to solidify their seat on the South African music industry.

“I will never forget the pressure when it came to writing this second album. The only reason things changed is that now we knew what a HIT was, and all that was being said to us was, we need more hits on the next album!! I wanted to make sure that we made a follow-up album that showed people that we were here to stay!!”

So we made #SUCASA … our sophomore album! The title could really solidify what we always wanted this band to be, a band for everybody! AND GUESS WHAT?!? IT HAD THE BIGGEST HIT ON THE ALBUM …

Mi Casa new album will be available Friday but you already pre-order Here and you could stand a chance for a private pre-release listening session with them on Zoom.
