Minnie Dlamini-Jones and her 30th Birthday

The popular TV presenter is normally low-key on her birthday and how she spends her day, but this time around, she posted a video of herself receiving both a beauty and a beast of a car.

In the Instagram post, she is wearing a bedroom gown while she covers her face with her hands. She is instructed to keep her eyes closed, walk forward and watch her step as she heads towards her ‘surprise.’

She shows her excitement when she opens her eyes. “Happy birthday,” another voice can be heard saying in the video.

According to the video post, the Jaguar I-Pace all-electric SUV is a gift from Jaguar South Africa. The car automaker had been hinting about it on social months for the past couple of months.

“I am so grateful for being so amazing to me. I’ve gone electric yall,” she wrote.

The luxurious Jaguar I-Pace is the first all-electric vehicle to hit South African roads. It starts at R1.87 million. The vehicle accelerates from 0 – 100 km/hr in 4.8 seconds.

Minnie is a Jaguar South Africa Ambassador and it may not come as a surprise that such a gift is befitting for her birthday. The automaker posted a tweet wishing Minnie the best.
