As reported by various sources, the final episode of Uthando Nes’thembu will no longer air on 30 April as initially planned, but has been pushed back to 14 May. This announcement was made official through an Instagram post, which read, “The cameras will keep rolling eMzumbe with an extension of four episodes.”

In the upcoming episodes, viewers can expect to see Musa and his incoming wife, Samke MaKhwela, take their relationship to the next level as they prepare for their traditional ceremony. Other episodes will feature a tense meeting between Musa and MaKhumalo, as well as a moment where Musa seeks MaYeni’s support regarding the traditional ceremony for MaKhwela, only to be met with refusal.

Following the success of season 8 in 2025, Uthando Nes’thembu released an “uncut” edition, which delves deeper into the family’s lingering moments and shares unedited scenes from the season.
