Lungelo Saule, the stepson of Uthando Nes’thembu’s Musa Mseleku, paid tribute to his late mother, Sindi Gloria Saule, affectionately known as MaSaule, on Mother’s Day. His touching message described her as “wise, compassionate, and stubborn”.
At the time of her passing, MaSaule was married to Musa Mseleku, and was close to MaKhumalo. It’s worth noting that she sadly lost her life in a car accident, as mentioned on the show. Lungelo chose to honour her memory by saying, “I chose not to lose my mom and instead to gain an angel. In my mind, my heart, and my life, she’s still completely present to this day. Happy Heavenly Mother’s Day.”
Lungelo shared his heartfelt message on his Instagram Stories, remembering his mother’s impact on his life. He also visited her grave during the festive season in 2025, an experience he had been dreading but eventually found the strength to go through.

Lungelo recently graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and he dedicated this achievement to his grandmother, who has been a parental figure in his life since his parents passed away. In his graduation message, he expressed gratitude to his grandmother, saying, “You filled a space in my heart and my life that no one else could, acting as my mother, my father, and my mentor.”
Lungelo’s graduation is one of many celebrated recently. Reality TV personality Amahle Biyela and former Isibaya actress Amina Jack also graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Amahle Biyela and Amina Jack celebrated their graduations on 7 May 2026. Amina Jack bagged a Bachelor of Social Science Honours in Psychology after a challenging academic journey, during which she juggled her acting career and studies.
Amina Jack managed to pull through after tapping into the counselling services provided by the Student Services Division at the university. Her story serves as an inspiration to many students who face similar challenges in their academic journeys.
