Hungani Ndlovu is Not Fired, Says Scandal

Contrary to previous media reports, Hungani Ndlovu who plays Romeo Medupe on eTv’s Scandal has not been fired.

The show took to Twitter to set the record straight and dispute false allegations that the actor had been relieved of his duties.

Hungani has won the hearts of many fans through his smarts, wits and intelligence. He is a good actor and a lot of people enjoy watching him on the show.

Rumours about Hungani Ndlovu being fired

In their Twitter post disputing the allegations of Hungani’s firing, Scandal said they are happy with his “excellent professionalism and acting.”

According to previous media reports, Hungani was booted from the show months after he had a physical altercation with Masasa Mbangeni, who plays Thembeka Shezi on the same drama.

The article further alleges that Hungani was giving show producers a headache as he became difficult to work with.

Fans used social media to express how they would feel in the event that Hungani left the show. Some said they would collapse and stop watching the show because he is the main reason why they watch Scandal.

While many tweets painted Hungani as the crème de la crème of the show, some said Scandal would still go on without him.

There were many great actors before him who came and left and it would be no different for him.

Others warned that no one should get bigger than the show because there are people who are waiting to take the same position.

This coronavirus pandemic has affected the entertainment industry just as much as it has affected many other industries.

Some dramas have had to cut production or cut down the working hours of their actors due to Covid-19. At the same time, many dramas have lost some of their leading actors in matters unrelated to the pandemic.

Imbewu, which airs on eTV, had to replace Fundiswa Zwane who plays KaMadonsela with Brenda Mhlongo. Fans were not happy at all.
