‘Imali’ song by Ami Faku goes Gold

Ami Faku ‘IMALI’ Single gets Gold certified.

Port Elizabeth  Afro-Soul singer Ami Faku has received her own first ‘GOLD’ Certification for her debut album, “IMALI”. The album was released September 2019, and it includes the current top-charting single, “Inde Lendlela,” “Ndivulele” with Sun-EL Musician and “Imali” single with Blaq Diamond Group.

Ami Faku is no stranger for getting a Gold certification; her single “Inde Lendlela” got awarded GOLD last month, this and the popularity of the song “Imali” with Blaq Diamond

had the most significant impact on the project getting a Gold Certification.

Ami Also has been getting Gold and Platinum certifications on songs that she appears on over the years. She has received GOLD for the singles “Ungowam” by De Mogul SA, “Into Ingawe” by Sun-EL Musician and lastly, “Uwrongo” by Prince Kaybee featuring Black Motion & DJ Shimza. With ‘Imali’ award, this was the second time the golden singer has got a Gold Plaque for her project.

“Imali” album is a project to grasp on, and this is not a surprise that the album sold more than 10.000 copies, as it was the #1 best-selling album at MUSICA the start of the year

for four consecutive weeks.

Ami Faku lately is on a great run. The singer also received 3 SAMA nominations not long ago in the following categories: Female Artist Of The Year, Best Afro Pop Album and Newcomer of The Year.

The SA singer took to Instagram to celebrate this feat and also thank Blaq Diamond group for their participation on the project.

IMALI went GOLD. All because of you, thank you! “Blaq Diamond” you both poured your hearts out on this song.

“Imali” single and album is available for purchase here.
