Two days later some songs have dropped the Top 30 chart, but Kabza de Small still has all of his 27 tracks on the Top 100 Chart of Apple Music South Africa.

Kabza De Small which is known as the Top Amapiano producer in South Africa, we can say in the World as well, as he self-proclaim as the “King of Amapiano” has released a new Solo Album with 27 Tracks titled “I Am the King of Amapiano: Sweet & Dust” which is a double Album.

The project features South African music industry top Artists such as; Maphorisa, Focalistic, Sha Sha, Daliwonga, Nia Perl, Mlindo The Vocalist, Samthing Soweto, Howard, Vyno Miller, Buckz, Bontle Smith, Bongza, Madumane, George Lesley & Earl W. Green, Howard & XolaniGuitars, Tyler ICU and Nicole Elocin, and Nigerians superstars, Wizkid and Burna Boy.

The album was released Friday 26th of June 2020 and it topped all the charts in the Nation, it had all the streets and corners of the country talking about it as it was one of the biggest music releases in South Afric in a long time, no wonder all of the songs topped the charts.

The Album came as a surprise as it was barely announced before its release, with only one song “Why Ngikufela” which featured female vocalist Sha Sha, and Phori as Madumane.

Fans lost their mind over the amazing songs and features on the album, as they couldn’t even pick up a favorite song. As of now some of the most played and talked songs of “I Am The King of Amapiano” are: “Sponono” with (Wizkid, Burna Boy, Cassper Nyovest & Madumane) as this still is at number #1 on Itunes, “Buyile”, “Into Yellow”, “Why Ngikufela”, “Sthandwa” and “Nia Lo” with the amazing vocals by Nia Perl.

The album has put the Amapiano Genre on another level, as of right now being one of the most played music Genre in South Africa, and slowly it is becoming very popular around the world.

“I Am The King of Amapiano” came after a great run of the producer with his brother in Arms, DJ Maphorisa

. In 2019 Kabza joined forces with producer DJ Maphorisa, as they became one of the best Duo on South African music industry, ending up releasing four (4) major and positively acclaimed projects: “Scorpion Kings”, a collaborative studio album that reached with over 100 000 units sold and went Diamond certified in South Africa

After that came “The Return of The Scorpion Kings”, another Diamond Certified album for the Duo, Then it was “Scorpion Kings Live”, another hit album that made a lot of noise in the country, and finally this year their last project together so far titled “Once Upon a Time in LockDown” and for your surprise, was another super hit studio project.

After those runs with Maphorisa, Kabza latest Solo project before “I Am The King of Amapiano” Album was “Pretty Girls Love Amapiano Vol.2” released this year under Maphorisa label BlaqBoy Music.

Kabza De Small has surely become the “King of Amapiano” with all the success the producer has had and continuing to have, as the numbers don’t lie, but as always, some fans think this is an outrageous statement, as some consider others producers, mainly “Vigro Deep” and “De Mthuda” as the best Amapiano producers.

Summarising, “I Am The King of Amapiano” is without a doubt a very good project, I have it on repeat all day long and it is no surprise that it had a very good and splendid reception by the fan-base.
