Siwelele FC Coach Seema Wants to Keep Kaizer Chiefs Loan Stars
Siwelele FC head coach Lehlohonolo Seema is eager to retain Samkelo Zwane and Happy Mashiane, who are currently on loan from Kaizer Chiefs. The two players have had a decent spell at Siwelele FC, and Seema believes they could be valuable assets to his team.
Seema’s side has had a commendable season so far, and a win on Saturday could see them finish in the top eight, depending on other results. Zwane and Mashiane, however, have not been utilised much by Kaizer Chiefs, leading some fans to feel that they would be better off elsewhere.
In an interview with Soccer Laduma, Seema expressed his admiration for the Kaizer Chiefs duo. “I need to work with them from the beginning of the season, in pre-season, and then we set our goals. They are good players, and every coach would love to have them in their team,” he said.
Seema acknowledged that time was not on their side due to the World Cup and the team’s efforts to save themselves from relegation. “Games were coming thick and fast because of the World Cup, so we had to work hard,” he added.
Kaizer Chiefs’ Decision on Zwane and Mashiane
It seems unlikely that Kaizer Chiefs would want to retain Zwane and Mashiane for next season, given that they have not impressed much since joining Siwelele on loan. Seema, however, remains hopeful that the two players could be available for the upcoming season. “If they are available, why not? It’s not our decision to make. We will have to wait on [Chiefs],” he concluded.
